friday-benched 295x2 very bad. Im going back to close grip. This was with grip 3. I have given up on being able to bench with a semi wide grip.

monday-squatted 365x5. not too bad.
Good Morning-225x6x2
pushed cooler-4 trips of about 20-30 yards. dont know the exact distance

Today-deload bench-205x5
then db row-75x17
pushed cooler-6 trips, nearly passed out.

military-190x7
dips and chins-took 6 sets to get 20 dips. terrible.

gonna stick with dips and chins until I get back good at them. I used to be really good at chinups.

squatted 335x9=435

ssb good morning-3 x6 with some weight.

will run and do abs this afternoon. And I really mean it. I have been pushing coolers and running stairs and have steadily been losing weight without changing my diet a whole lot. Used the 4th hole on my belt today for the first time since I competed at 265. Too bad I am not as strong as I was then.

Military-200x5=233 not horrible

dips and chins-took 4 sets to get 19 reps, one less than last week. I guess the max set on military took its toll.

weight is 280 and I ate like crap this weekend. had fried oreos last night. So I am probably around 278-279 for real. Thats down from 295. I also think that is why my strength isnt progressing like I would have hoped. But losing weight is more important now. As long as I am not getting severely weaker. But my squat is going up. go figure.

Bench is too horrible to post.

Then did some dips and pendlay rows. 4 sets of each. weight was 277 yesterday. Thats 18 lbs from January 6th. The thing that always goes when I lose weight is my bench.

been training hard for the past year just not much to talk about.

I have gone back to training my lower body westside and my upper body 5/3/1. I loved Westside for my lower body and reps work better for my upper body so Im combining the two. I would love to compete again although monetarily that might not be possible. When I left this log I was trying to lose weight and I succeeded in getting down to 258. My conditioning greatly improved but I lost a lot of strength. I am now around 270 with much more muscle and my strength is steadily going up. Im going to try to lose weight a little slower this time and still be able to perform a little better.
